WOODLAWN MARCH FOR JUSTICE & COMMUNITY CONTROL OF CHICAGO POLICE
When: 3pm Saturday, November 28, 2015
Where: 63rd and Cottage
We are calling upon all our people in the neighborhoods and all strands of the people’s movement to join us as we protest the murder of Laquan McDonald, and demand community control of the police. We will rally at 63rd and Cottage Grove at 3pm and then march to Alderman Willie Cochran’s office and the police station on E. 71st Street.
We the people in the neighborhoods must demand that our Aldermen do the right thing, enact CPAC!
DEMAND JUSTICE FOR LAQUAN MCDONALD
DEMAND COMMUNITY CONTROL OF CHICAGO POLICE
Stop the business as usual of police murder & cover up – Change the racist system not just the players – No more mayoral control of CPD – No more IPRA – No more Police Board – No more Internal Affairs – No more relying on the Cook County State Attorney – Only community control of the Chicago police – Only an all elected all Civilian Police Accountability Council – CPAC
